When selecting sub-contractors we ensure they must comply with Ideateks’ own standards. That includes complying with customers’ code of conduct, SMETA (Sedex) and working specifically to meet individual customers CSR requirements. We request that any sub-contractors working on sustainable, organic, BCI or recycled hold the relevant certifications, to include OCS and RCS. Regular audits are imposed to ensure these are maintained.

Ideateks holds a strong place in the market and through the expertise of a strong fabric department, is able to buy yarn and follow the process through knitting and into development of fabric.

Production quality is at the top of the agenda within Ideateks and staff are continually trained in this area.

Fabrics and accessories are tested in 3rd party nominated global laboratories.

In 2020 Ideateks set up its own testing laboratory, which allows us to do inhouse testing as well as third parties.

During production Ideateks uses strict control/measures and works to 2.5 AQL standard.

The experienced Quality-Assurance team extends its operation even into the supply of raw materials.
